Defining the role of a Biotechnologist:

A Biotechnologist creates and improves agricultural, medical and environmental products and processes using biological organisms. A Biotechnologist also studies the genetical, chemical and physical attributes of cells, tissues and organisms, and identifies industrial uses for them.
